About Alfred Duma Municipality

Visit Ladysmith and you’ll find a friendly, peaceful town, waiting to be explored. As the largest town in the area, it serves as a major shopping centre for the surrounding towns such as Colenso, Glencoe, Bergville and Dundee. You’re bound to find something interesting! The Tourist Information Office, situated in the foyer of the Siege Museum, next to the Historic Town Hall in Murchison Street will direct you to the many areas of interest such as the Historical Buildings Trail including the All Saints Church, National Monument, Statue of Gandhi and the Moth Museum. And to get away from it all you can enjoy the fresh air on the banks of the famous and beautiful Klip River.
