About Dundee Tourism

Our lovely tourism office will welcome you and provide information and advice on our entire area. It is centrally situated on the municipal grounds in Victoria Street and open from 09h00 to 16h30 during the week. Our maps and information available outside the centre will help tourists to find Battlefields as well as accommodation at all times of the day and night.

The picturesque town of Dundee is not only the heart of the Battlefields but has many attractions to offer both the business person as well as the tourist. Our dedicated and passionate tour guides will take you on a tour of our Battlefields such as Isandlwana, Rorke’s Drift , Blood River, Prince Imperial Cenotaph and Talana Battlefield and Museum. From Dundee you can visit 68 battles and skirmishes.

We host the annual Dundee Rural horse racing event known as the Dundee July.
