Day 1: Eye of Africa Golf and Leisure Club (R550 Klip Route)
Directions: From Johannesburg, head south-east on the Sybrand van Niekerk Freeway/R59, then take exit 52 for R554/Swartkoppies Road. Turn right on Swartkoppies Road; continue on Main Road; turn left onto Vereeniging Road/R82; take the first road left onto Kliprivier Road/R550. Then turn right onto Cayman Road; and again right at Iberis Road. Once you take the second road right, the Eye of Africa Golf and Leisure Club will be on the right.
The Eye of Africa boasts the first Greg Norman-designed golf course in South Africa. This 18-hole, par-72 championship Golf Course spans over 6 895 metres where golfers of all abilities can experience a challenging game on wide fairways and beautiful A1/A4 greens. It houses a clubhouse with coffee shop, Golf Pro shop and locker rooms, as well as stunning views over Johannesburg.
Overnight at the four-star Three Rivers Lodge and Villa Anna Sophia (Three Rivers Route)
Directions: Head northeast; turn left towards Cayman Road; take the second road onto Cayman Road. Next, turn right onto Howard Road and then turn right onto Kliprivier Road/R550. Turn right to merge onto Sybrand van Niekerk Freeway/R59 towards Vereeniging where you take Exit 8 to merge onto Johannesburg Road/R82 towards Vereeniging. Next turn left onto General Hertzog Road; then turn left onto Golf Road where you will see the venue on the right (approximately 54kms).
Three Rivers Lodge and Villa Anna Sophia, a sophisticated accommodation and function venue, offers old-world luxury and charm.
Enjoy dinner at Anna’s Kitchen, the venue’s onsite, award-winning restaurant, with its French and Italian cuisine. Spend the night at Three Rivers Lodge and Villa Anna Sophia, which was recently awarded ‘Best Four Star Guest House’ in the 2013 National Lilizela Awards.
DAY 2: BON Hotel Riviera On Vaal and Country Club
Directions: Head west on Golf Road; then at the end of the road turn left on Mario Milani Drive where you will see the Country Club on the left (approximately 3.3kms).
The luxurious BON Hotel Riviera On Vaal and Country Club are both located on the banks of the Vaal River. Designed by specialist Robert Richardson, the golf course offers unusual holes and water attractions as an added feature. It also houses a clubhouse with bar and social area, Pro Golf shop and locker rooms.

DAY 3:Emfuleni Golf Course (Riverfront Route)
Directions: Once you leave the Riviera, head south on Mario Milani Drive toward Gideon Scheepers Drive to turn right onto the R82. Next; turn left onto Voortrekker Street/R42 and then left onto Andries Potgieter Boulevard. Thereafter turn right onto Hendrik van Eck Boulevard; then turn left into Frikkie Meyer Boulevard and right into Cherry Street. Continue straight onto Emfuleni Drive and turn right towards the Emfuleni Golf Course (approximately 17.4kms).
This course, designed over 50 years ago as a classic parkland course, is situated within a residential security estate, along the banks of the Vaal. The 18-hole, 72-par Emfuleni course was designed by Michael Barkett and offers a maximum level of enjoyment with its bent fairways. The Golf Club also features a bar and restaurant; the perfect spot to relax and reflect on your golfing experience in the Vaal before you leave for home.
