Ngi Vela E Africa is a shop on the road to the Howick Falls, opposite the Museum. We are a curio shop and keep a lot or ironwood animals and various items made of ebony wood which can be taken overseas, even to Australia.
We also stock a large selection of attractive coloured African beads (necklaces and bracelets) which are beautifully made by the Zulu people. We furthermore keep a large number of bowls made of rosewood which is also a hard wood. We have salad servers, bone salt and pepper sets, bone bottle openers, drums in all sizes and various masks, beaded knives and forks, South African maps, table runners and batik table clothes and a very wide selection of soapstone items. We also keep Madagascan bags and a variety of scarves.
The shop is run by Jenny Cope with the help of Michelle. We aim to please and believe our prices are very competitive.
