Three day and two night Lesotho experience: Entering Lesotho via the famous Sani Pass and visiting other well-known Lesotho sites around the Eastern and Western highlands of Lesotho, to exit at Ramatislitso Gate border post, in the Eastern Cape.   **Runs with a minimum of 4 people**

Day 1 Depart from Underberg and travel up the Sani Pass to the Kingdom of Lesotho. A mid-morning stop at Sani Mountain Lodge (the highest pub in Africa) for brunch and drinks. A further 18km and 450m in elevation brings us to the top of Kotisepola “Black Mountain ” to view Thabana Ntlenyana, the highest peak in Southern Africa. Then on to Number 10 Riverside for an introduction to Basotho Culture, a visit an Ngaka “traditional healer” and the artefact house. The day ends at St James Mission for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 After breakfast we head west towards St Theresa’s. We travel through the Linakaneng (Dinakaneng) Valley to the Sani River, where you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing new views. Once we reach St Theresa’s we will meet Father Gabriel who will give us a comparative look at western versus traditional medicine, from a Roman Catholic point of view. We take a short drive to Mashai Guest Lodge for dinner and to overnight.

Day 3 After breakfast we depart from Mashai and travel southwards experiencing our very own “African Massage”. We stop for lunch in the “gardens” next to the river, we see ancient rock art and view the rare Spiral Aloe. We then travel through to Sehlabathebe National Park where we have dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Before and after breakfast we have time for a walk in the awesome park, viewing spectacular natural sandstone arches and unique plant life. We then head back to Underberg via Ramatislitso Gate border post and through the Eastern Cape, stopping for lunch along the way or in Underberg.
